1 A song of David for going up to the Temple. Lord, I am not proud. I don't pretend to be more important than others. I am not interested in doing great things or trying to reach impossible goals.

2 But I am calm and quiet, like a child content in its mother's arms.

3 Israel, trust in the Lord. Trust in him now and forever!
