Proverbs 2 : 1 (LITV)

My son, if you will receive my words, and treasure up my commandments with you,

Proverbs 2 : 2 (LITV)

so that you attend to wisdom, you shall extend your heart to understanding.

Proverbs 2 : 3 (LITV)

For if you cry for discernment, lifting up your voice for understanding;

Proverbs 2 : 4 (LITV)

if you seek her as silver, and search for her as hidden treasures,

Proverbs 2 : 5 (LITV)

then you shall understand the fear of Jehovah and find knowledge of God.

Proverbs 2 : 6 (LITV)

For Jehovah gives wisdom; out of His mouth are knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 2 : 7 (LITV)

He lays up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to the ones who walk in integrity,

Proverbs 2 : 8 (LITV)

to guard the paths of judgment, and He protects the way of His saints.

Proverbs 2 : 9 (LITV)

Then you shall understand righteousness and judgment and honesty, yea, every good path.

Proverbs 2 : 10 (LITV)

When wisdom enters into your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul,

Proverbs 2 : 11 (LITV)

discretion shall keep you, understanding shall watch over you,

Proverbs 2 : 12 (LITV)

to deliver you from the evil way, from the man who speaks perverse things,

Proverbs 2 : 13 (LITV)

those who leave the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness,

Proverbs 2 : 14 (LITV)

who rejoice to do evil, they delight in the perversities of the wicked,

Proverbs 2 : 15 (LITV)

whose paths are crooked, who are devious in their tracks;

Proverbs 2 : 16 (LITV)

these will deliver you from the strange woman, from the foreigner who flatters with her words,

Proverbs 2 : 17 (LITV)

who forsakes the guide of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God.

Proverbs 2 : 18 (LITV)

For her house leads down to death, and her tracks to the departed spirits.

Proverbs 2 : 19 (LITV)

All going in to her do not return, nor do they reach the ways of life.

Proverbs 2 : 20 (LITV)

Then you may walk in the ways of the good and keep the ways of the righteous.

Proverbs 2 : 21 (LITV)

For the upright shall live in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.

Proverbs 2 : 22 (LITV)

But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
