Psalms 107 : 1 (LITV)

Give thanks to Jehovah, for He is good; for His mercy endures forever.

Psalms 107 : 2 (LITV)

Let the redeemed of Jehovah say so, whom He redeemed from the hand of the foe;

Psalms 107 : 3 (LITV)

and gathered them from the lands; from east and from west; from north and from south.

Psalms 107 : 4 (LITV)

They wandered in the wilderness, in a desert way; they found no city of dwelling;

Psalms 107 : 5 (LITV)

hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them;

Psalms 107 : 6 (LITV)

and they cried to Jehovah in their distress; He delivered them from their straits.

Psalms 107 : 7 (LITV)

And He guided them in the right way; to go to a city of dwelling.

Psalms 107 : 8 (LITV)

Let them thank Jehovah for His mercy, and His wonders to the sons of man.

Psalms 107 : 9 (LITV)

He satisfies the thirsty soul, and He fills the hungry soul with good.

Psalms 107 : 10 (LITV)

Those who live in the darkness, and in the shadow of death, being prisoners in affliction and iron,

Psalms 107 : 11 (LITV)

because they rebelled against the Words of God, and despised the counsel of the Most High;

Psalms 107 : 12 (LITV)

and He humbled their heart by toil; they stumbled, and none were helping;

Psalms 107 : 13 (LITV)

and they cried to Jehovah in their distress; He saved them out of their distresses;

Psalms 107 : 14 (LITV)

He brought them out from darkness and the shadow of death; and He broke their bonds apart.

Psalms 107 : 15 (LITV)

Let them thank Jehovah for His mercy, and His wonders to the sons of man.

Psalms 107 : 16 (LITV)

For He has broken the gates of bronze; and He cut bars of iron in two.

Psalms 107 : 17 (LITV)

Fools are afflicted from the way of their rebellion, and from their iniquities;

Psalms 107 : 18 (LITV)

their soul hates every food; and they touch the gates of death;

Psalms 107 : 19 (LITV)

and they cried to Jehovah in their distress; He saved them from their straits;

Psalms 107 : 20 (LITV)

He sent His Word and healed them; and delivered them from all their pitfalls.

Psalms 107 : 21 (LITV)

Let them thank Jehovah for His mercy, and His wonders to the sons of man.

Psalms 107 : 22 (LITV)

And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and recount His works with rejoicing.

Psalms 107 : 23 (LITV)

They who go down to the sea in ships, who work in the great waters;

Psalms 107 : 24 (LITV)

these see the works of Jehovah, and His wonders in the deep.

Psalms 107 : 25 (LITV)

For He speaks, and He raises stormy wind, and makes its waves high;

Psalms 107 : 26 (LITV)

they go up to the heavens; they go down to the depths; their soul is melted because they are in evil;

Psalms 107 : 27 (LITV)

they reel and stagger like a drunken man, and all their wisdom is swallowed up;

Psalms 107 : 28 (LITV)

and they cry to Jehovah in their distress, and He saves them out of their straits.

Psalms 107 : 29 (LITV)

He settles the storm to a whisper, so that its waves are still;

Psalms 107 : 30 (LITV)

and they are glad, because they are quiet; and He led them to their desired haven.

Psalms 107 : 31 (LITV)

Let them thank Jehovah for His mercy, and His wonders to the sons of mankind;

Psalms 107 : 32 (LITV)

and exalt Him in the congregation of the people; and praise Him in the seat of the elders.

Psalms 107 : 33 (LITV)

He sets rivers to a wilderness, and watersprings to thirsty ground;

Psalms 107 : 34 (LITV)

a fruitful land to a salty desert; because of the wickedness of those who live in it.

Psalms 107 : 35 (LITV)

He puts the wilderness into pools of water; and dry land into water-springs;

Psalms 107 : 36 (LITV)

and He makes the hungry live there, and they may prepare a city of dwelling.

Psalms 107 : 37 (LITV)

And they sow the fields, and plant vineyards, and make fruits of produce.

Psalms 107 : 38 (LITV)

He also blesses them, so that they multiply greatly; and He does not allow their cattle to diminish;

Psalms 107 : 39 (LITV)

but they are diminished and bowed down from coercion, evil and grief.

Psalms 107 : 40 (LITV)

He pours scorn on nobles, and causes them to wander in a desert; there is no path.

Psalms 107 : 41 (LITV)

But He raises the poor up from affliction, and He sets families like a flock.

Psalms 107 : 42 (LITV)

The upright shall see and be glad; and all iniquity shuts its mouth.

Psalms 107 : 43 (LITV)

Whoever is wise and will observe these things, they shall discern the mercies of Jehovah.
