Psalms 37 : 1 (LITV)
A Psalm of David. Do not inflame yourself with evildoers; and do not be envious against workers of perversity;
Psalms 37 : 2 (LITV)
for they soon wither like grass and fade like the green herb.
Psalms 37 : 3 (LITV)
Trust in Jehovah and do good; live in the land and feed on faithfulness.
Psalms 37 : 4 (LITV)
And delight yourself in Jehovah, that He may give you your heart's desire.
Psalms 37 : 5 (LITV)
Roll your way on Jehovah and trust in Him; and He will work.
Psalms 37 : 6 (LITV)
And He will bring forth your righteousness like the light; and your judgment like the noon day.
Psalms 37 : 7 (LITV)
Rest in Jehovah and wait patiently for Him; inflame not yourself with him who prospers in his way, with the man practicing evil wiles.
Psalms 37 : 8 (LITV)
Abstain from anger and cease from fury; also do not inflame yourself to do evil.
Psalms 37 : 9 (LITV)
For evildoers shall be cut off; and the ones waiting on Jehovah, they shall inherit the earth.
Psalms 37 : 10 (LITV)
It is but a little while and the wicked shall not be; yea, you shall consider his place, and he is not.
Psalms 37 : 11 (LITV)
But the meek shall inherit the earth; yea, they shall delight themselves in abundant peace.
Psalms 37 : 12 (LITV)
The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes on him with his teeth;
Psalms 37 : 13 (LITV)
the Lord laughs at him, for He sees that his day is coming.
Psalms 37 : 14 (LITV)
The wicked have drawn out the sword and they have trodden their bow, to cause the poor and needy to fall, to kill those who walk uprightly.
Psalms 37 : 15 (LITV)
Their sword shall enter into their heart, and their bows shall be broken.
Psalms 37 : 16 (LITV)
A little to the righteous is better than the abundance of many wicked.
Psalms 37 : 17 (LITV)
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; but Jehovah upholds the righteous.
Psalms 37 : 18 (LITV)
Jehovah knows the days of the upright; yea, their inheritance shall be forever.
Psalms 37 : 19 (LITV)
They shall not be ashamed in an evil time; and they shall be full in days of famine.
Psalms 37 : 20 (LITV)
But the wicked shall perish; yea, the enemies of Jehovah shall be like the beauty of pastures; they are consumed; like smoke, they vanish.
Psalms 37 : 21 (LITV)
The wicked borrows and never repays, but the righteous is gracious and giving.
Psalms 37 : 22 (LITV)
For His blessed ones inherit the earth; and those cursed by Him shall be cut off.
Psalms 37 : 23 (LITV)
The steps of a good man are established from Jehovah; and He will delight in his way.
Psalms 37 : 24 (LITV)
Though he falls, he is not cast down; for Jehovah upholds his hand.
Psalms 37 : 25 (LITV)
I have been young and am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, or his seed begging bread.
Psalms 37 : 26 (LITV)
All the day he is gracious and lends; and his seed is for a blessing.
Psalms 37 : 27 (LITV)
Turn away from evil and do good and live forever.
Psalms 37 : 28 (LITV)
For Jehovah loves judgment and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever; but the wicked's seed shall be cut off.
Psalms 37 : 29 (LITV)
The righteous shall inherit the earth and live on it forever.
Psalms 37 : 30 (LITV)
The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks judgment.
Psalms 37 : 31 (LITV)
The Law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slide.
Psalms 37 : 32 (LITV)
The wicked spies on the righteous and seeks to kill him.
Psalms 37 : 33 (LITV)
Jehovah does not leave him in his hand; nor does He allow him to be found guilty in his judgment.
Psalms 37 : 34 (LITV)
Wait on Jehovah and keep His way; and He shall exalt you to inherit the earth; you shall see when the wicked are cut off.
Psalms 37 : 35 (LITV)
I have seen the wicked ruthless, even spreading himself out like a luxuriant, native tree;
Psalms 37 : 36 (LITV)
yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not; and I looked for him, but he could not be found.
Psalms 37 : 37 (LITV)
Watch the perfect and behold the upright one; for the end of that man is peace.
Psalms 37 : 38 (LITV)
But the transgressors are destroyed together; the end of the wicked is cut off.
Psalms 37 : 39 (LITV)
But the salvation of the righteous is from Jehovah; He is their strength in the time of distress.
Psalms 37 : 40 (LITV)
And Jehovah helps them and delivers them; He shall deliver them from the wicked and saves them, because they trust in Him.
